Nervous

Nervous.. That is what I am for some reason. Ok so here is the story; There is this girl who works at the Publix just up the street from my house(I'll call her publix chick cus I don't know her name yet) and she is really, really cute (I'm very picky with girls) and normally I'd just walk up and introduce my self. I've had seven years of training with talking to "potentials"(and I'll leave it at that word) since sixth grade- to a senior in high school I've always been able to just walk up to anyone and just start talking and I usually end up leaving with a few phone numbers(depending on gender) but for some reason I get that nervous gut feeling like I did the very first time I started talking to girls I really wanted to spend time with. It feels like butterflies just a fluttering around and I can't shake the feeling. When I start thinking about going over to publix chick I get the feeling and can't seem to make it go away until i leave. I start thinking about what I'm going to say to her and from what I've learn that's a big "No,no" as over analyzing will only make it worse just better off to go with the flow. I get the feeling I'm going to embarrass myself or something. I really want to talk to her but I just can't move past my gut feeling that makes me so damn nervous!

You COULD waste your time with all these apparently rehersed and non-genuine, non-"what I'm really getting at" lines.

Or you could just get to the point and use the old standard...

"Nice shoes...wanna f**k?"

All right I figured this topic needs a woman's perspective! Geez, I've only heard that pick up line from my ex bf before. LOL.

Go with the flow! Or do what Adam Sandler did in that movie with Jack Nicholson. "The reason I was so abrupt earlier is because it is hard for me to express my self when I am on the verge of exploding in my pants."

That'll get her attention!

Women who tie your tongue are often worth talking to, even if only to loosen the tongue up so that it becomes easier to do the next time. Still a polite introduction, no pressure pitch, and hopefully, a good place to go for some grub/drinks will at least get you consideration, we hope. Even if it does turn out to be "No, sorry, you're just another customer to me."
