Skylah... died...?!

Wow, this was very unexpected, and very tragic indeed. I didn't know Skylah very well personally, but she's been a constant and familiar presence here at PO for as long as I've been here. She will be missed, and my condolences go out to her family and friends, and to you Ricky.

I don't think words can even barely sum it up. I mean, I was sitting here in the office and got the text messages. I was in shock for a while.
She was smart, gold-hearted, beautiful, and definitely worldly.

And a fellow bellydancer. She was absolutely entrancing even through a computer screen.

I'm terribly sorry for the loss Ricky. If we could change things, we would, but she was a great person, and for that, she's up there with great people. I hope you're ok bud. This is tough. Keep up the faith.

This week has just been a poopy week all around. WTF is going on?

Well, I too never really knew her well...but I always enjoyed her jump-roping avatar and her dirty jokes. She was always so darn peppy and cheerful. I wondered where she got it.

I hope she wasnt in too much pain at the end, and that her family and friends can make it through these tough times. Sad

Huh. Just goes to show you how much you don't know anybody, even when you think you do. I had no idea she was asthmatic. And now, she's gone. Far too early for her to go.

Wow... just wow. I don't frequent these places much and I certainly won't pretend like I knew Skylah well- but I did know her and have had the pleasure of exchanging a comment to-and-fro with her; it's almost surreal that someone usually up and around this place won't be here anymore...
This was way too soon for someone like her...

Thanks a lot everyone.

Most of you know how much she meant to me and even though all the things that happened between us she will always be dear in my heart.

I have been having a hard time dealing with this, but little by little. It was just so unexpected for me. It wasn't something that I even remotely thought of... she passing away.

In any case, I do appreciate all of you guys thoughts and prayers for her, the condolences and every single sentiment. But I just wanted to say that it wasn't just me who lost something here but everyone in the site. Even if you didn't know her at all, you knew of her. You knew of her fights and her jokes. You knew her bouncing avatar. Others, like me, knew her voice, her love, her family, her friends and her life.

She meant so much to so many. But for me, she was a parallel world where she ruled. She taught me so much in my life and made a huge impact. I can only hope that I made some kind of impact on hers.

I guess can never really say good bye to someone when they go. I just hope that she is happy wherever she is. And I can only hope that I get to see her there sooner or later.

Not to step on any toes (Rickey) but didn't she and Reaper have something going on at one point? If so, someone should see how he's doing or if he even knows...
