*WARNING: random complaints of a teenage guy herein*

I'm getting no sleep. NO sleep. I don't mean like 6 hours, I mean 2. I'm up until 1:00-2:00 every night because of insomnia, or something, but I can't get to sleep. It could have something to do with the fact that my room has been taken over by my idiotic little brother, and I literlly have to BUILD a room if I want one. I'm nearly done it now, but I've been sleeping on the couch while I do this. Making and installing a wood frame, insulating the room, putting up drywall, painting, etc. is NOT fun. This has taken about a month, because I have no time to begin with... During my week, I have to be at school usually by 7:30, occasionally by 6:30 if I have a band practice. Then I have practices after school, and 3 out of 5 days I have meetings at lunch. Now add on homework. I have exactly | | THIS much time to spend with my girlfriend, or my friends, and whenever I'm free, my girlfriend is busy.

My family situation is... interesting. It could be a lot worse, and I'm grateful for that, but I really hate it. Essentially I'm poor. My mother is supporting 4 of us, Me, my 2 brothers, and my sister, ages 15, 18, 11, and 4. All by herself. The medical company she was working for went under, and now she has a job on a farm. A pig farm. She really dislikes her job, but she can't quit, because she's just making enough money to get by, but she's barely ever home.

Now I'm suddenly going to jump off-topic, and complain about school. My marks right now suck. Not because I don't get the material, no; I'm in Enriched classes a grade ahead of where I should be. It's just that it has become pointless. Chemistry is so easy it's a joke, my math teacher is a complete asshole, and is being fired and replaced in 2 weeks, and I'm 3 major units ahead in Programming. It doesn't seem worth what little time I have to do homework.

And my classmates all manage to have IQs below room temperature.

They constantly throw things, yell randomly at people, and spread idiotic rumors. According to the romours, I've threatened to kill several of them. ... Wasn't my idea, but sure, what the hell. For some reason I have uncanny accuracy with firearms. :/

Now to go on with another day of my life. I have 2 labs due tomorrow, I'm debating whether or not to do them. They'll take a grand total of half an hour.

Truly you are the man of metal. I think that I can relate to your dilema in terms of being busy; job, school, practices, lessons, homework, it all takes up a lot of time. I admire your tenacity, though, considering the tough situation that you find yourself in. I'm not sure what I would do and I think that you are handling it really well. I would be so there to help you with construction of a room but as far as I know you live far away from me and thus I cannot truly offer my services. I wish you luck on the room and hope everything else turns out good as well.
