I'm a huge Anime fan, but in the last couple of years I've found myself tired of the scene. What shows have really stood out in the last couple of years?
Some of my fav series are:
-Maison Ikkoku
-Rose of Versailles
-Berserk
-Rurouni Kenshin
-GTO
-Cowboy Bebop
-Neon Genesis
-Patlabor
-Nurse Angel

If you haven't seen Akira or Metropilis yet, I suggest them. If you want pure wacky comedy, go for FLCL (I think Armiatge has all 6 episodes on her comp)
If all else fails, watch Astro Boy.  |

- Vampire Princess Miyu
- Vampire Hunter D
- Spriggan
- Princess Mononoke
- Lodoss War (Either Series except Crystania)
- Bubblegum Crisis/Crash (Original Series)
Of course there are alot more, but these are some of my personal favs. |
