Demonic stands, quivering artificially and hoping the act is convincing. The shadow is creeping closer and closer as Demonic closes his eyes, Fireporting(Read the Earth Cup battle) behind Rayne and slashing viciously at his back in a final burst of power, augmenting his own speed and power after just having come out of the fire.

ooc: I dont exactly get your method of teleportation but Ill accept the fact that your behind me.

bic:Rayne falls forward with slashes and gashes all along his back.

"New plan!"

The shadows that were previously going after Demonic raced towards Rayne. They reach him and swarm his body. They seemingly go into his wounds. Most of his cuts are closed up and some color returns to his right arm. He gets on his knees and jumps into the air. He blasts as many black energy beams as he can manage at Demonic and lands huffing.

"We're playing the healing game, are we?"

Demonic lands, pelted by black energy beams, but Bloodreign is healing him all the while... and little by little the beams hurt less and less thanks to Rayne's blood. Demonic has taken about half the damage he would have normally. He breathes heavily for a second or two, then launches upwards of twenty homing fireballs at Rayne that do very little damage but are hard to dodge.

Rayne starts to run away from the fireballs until they are following in an almost direct line behind him. They are gaining on him fairly quickly. He stops and pivots all in one motion. He then opens up a portal but hes too slow and 2 manage to get by as the rest are sent into space. Rayne cringes in pain as one ball hits his chest and the other in his ribs. Having his shirt off, this is painful and they leave burn marks. Steam from burnt flesh rises from his wounds. Still quite far from Demonic, Rayne pulls back Katre preparing to stab forward. He puts a lot of might behind it and shoves Katre forward. He opens a portal at the same time, one leading into Demonic's gut. About half of Katre goes through the small portal.

Demonic steps backward, but not quickly enough-- a few inches of Katre stab into his gut. He clenches at the gaping wound in his abdomen, biting his lip tightly as he steps away, scowling, swords on the ground. He sits down, and then collapses-- but only for a moment. Suddenly, he leaps to his feet, bristling with newfound energy.

"That's it! You're going down!"

He suddenly dashes forward, screaming a battle cry...

"STAB!"

*pose*

"IN!"

*pose*

"THE!"

*pose*

"EYE!"

He suddenly, fades, reappearing, swords-first, before Rayne, prepared to stab him in the eyes.

ooc: strolling away from the more serious aspects of the fight are we? Sorry, I only fight, so naturally I do it seriously.

bic: Rayne bends down in easy avoidance of Demonic's stab and uppercuts him in the chin.

"Never give away where your going to hit, it makes it so easy to dodge."

Rayne continues a barrage of punches and kicks.

Demonic decides he's going to block Rayne's attacks with his sharp, pointy blades-- he's quite good at it too, knowing a bit about martial arts. He hopes Rayne's hands and feet aren't invulnerable to being reduced to bloody stumps.

Rayne backs off the barrage to shield himself from the blades. He uses Katre and a shield from the same kind of energy as Katre to block. Rayne waits for an opening and sweep-kicks Demonic's shin.

Demonic tosses Bloodreign away as he falls, bringing FireGuardian up to block the predicted oncoming blow. Demonic rolls backward, then gets to his feet, at a distance from Rayne now. Meanwhile, Bloodreign makes a wide semi-circle at high speeds, then veers, going upward and then diving at Rayne from above.

Rayne waits there and steps away right before Demonic's sword comes down.

"I know about your swords now, and they carry peoples energy, so I can sense where they are."

Rayne runs up to Demonic who is on the ground. He takes his shield and swings at FireGuardian to knock it out of a blocking position and stabs at Demonic with Katre.
