Is it really that horrible for a guy to wear purple? (or even have purple accessories or hair o.-)
And if so, WHY!?!?!? ._.
This question arose when a certain blondie (*glare* >_>) told me it was... (this happened a while back though  )
I'm just kinda wondering ._. sorry if this seems stupid~ |

...there's just a stereotype about purple and guys. If you wear purple and you're a guy, chances are people will wonder about you. You have to either
a)Not care what anyone thinks,
b)Be extremely sure in your masculinity.
For the accessories in the hair...guys in general just don't do that. |

well, ive wore purple before, and i havent been ridiculed about it, so i dont think that there is any problems with it...but things in the hair would sure raise an eyebrow |

It's tinky winky's Fault! I didn't know purple was a symbol of gay pride till he came along! I was happy in my merican ways.
And I see nothing wrong with clothing but when I guy starts wearing accessories and glitter paints then yes he crosses into no man's land. Even if it's un-intentional. |

Stereotypes are for those that are paranoid themselves. Some mannerisms I have or things I wear could constitute myself being gay, yet I'm as straight as they come.
And as for accessories in the hair, for a guy with long hair that's not entirely a rare thing if he wants to puts his hair back into a ponytail. |

Pony tail thingies are ok...If they're bands or something...But if a guy puts a purple butterfly in his hair then the mood changes.
And yes, Cloud is gay which is why he never went after Aerith till it was too late then Tifa came along and he decided to not be gay by hitting on the most un-feminite yet buxom girl known to man. So when he's doing her I'm sure she's just like doin a man...Yeah...ummm, k. |
