Hey Shuri,
I take it you won't be driving that though, right? That thing is almost a mini-limo, so you figure you would have a chafuer if I ain't mistaken.
A buddy at work loves this car and the Bently and he told me if he ever happened opon one, he would just kick bak in the back and have a chafuer drive the car. |

Having been fortunate enough to drive a BMW for quite some time, I must say that I am a fan. Sorry guys. It's a nice ride, but I accept your opinions. It's all good. I was curious about that Lancer EVO that a few of you mentioned, because I've always liked the shape of the Lancer, and wanted to know more about it. All I can say is "WOW" That is some freakin' car. Definitely a new addition to my list of all time favorites. Thanx for opening my eyes to something so awesome.

If I heard correctly, the WRX STi will peak at 265HP or somewhere in the area. Still coming in short of the Evo VIII at 271. I think the 265 HP is for the regular WRX that is available now. The STi version of the WRX will be made available here soon will have 300 HP (I guess Subaru Tech. did some tweaking on this model). Your right though, the Evo VIII is cheaper then the STi version, but I think the plain WRX is still about 25-26. Back to the Evo VIII, I still don't like the grill though, the grill reminds me of that ugly SUV Mitsu puts out ( I can't remember the name of it, but it is the small SUV, with the weak-ass engine).
You and me share a common bound: our dream cars are AWD, sweet as hell, and one more thing, HEAVY. Although I think the 3000GT (or GTO, whichever you perfer) weighs a bit more. |
Well what do you know... After doing a little research, it seems as if after the announcment of the Evo, Suburu decided to pump up their stats a little.
You are correct. 300HP with a 2.5L engine.
However, the normal WRX has 227HP.
It should be known that Mitsubishi is planning on bringing out a "Rally Edition" of the Evo. This will be an interesting competition to see.
I do agree that the VII looks better then the VIII by the way. |

My dad has a SS camaro with a v8 engine and it rocks in the summer! When I can drive though I really want a thunderbid from the 50's or 60's I'm not quite sure but I've seen them in movies and they are sooooo pretty!!!!!!! :0 The powder blue model was really nice (or am I just making that up? correct me if I'm wrong)! |
