Ok, so it is the final count down. Relay is only two days away!!! Shino and Saleb Duvat joined my team of nine 12-year-old girls!!! (it's gonna be great fun!) I am really looking forward to it.
Please, consider this an invitation to come out. Anyone is welcome and please, bring a couple of friends. The event is going to be AWESOME!!! I am on the committee to help organize it, so I have all kinds of insider information. But, I am not going to tell you all the details, you gotta come out for yourself and see the party in action! We have everything from a DJ to live music to tons and tons of raffles to an Elvis impersonator (no, not Elvis Pretzel...ya had to be there, don't ask! ) It starts at 7pm and goes until 10am on Saturday. Below are directions. It is an all night event.
The name of my team is Survivor NMS (NMS = Northwestern Middle School - HEY...my team is almost all 12-year-olds...awesome 12-year-olds might I add too! I am so proud of all of them. All together my team has raised $2,103.66 so far, and we are not done! ) 
Oh yeah, we are at Camp site #18.
Hope to see as many of you as possible!!!
Directions from GA 400:
Exit 7
Go East on Holcomb Bridge
Go a couple of miles and then turn left on Scott Road
(there is a Kroger on the left)
Scott Road is short and when you get to the end of it, you will see signs for where to park and how to get onto the track. |

Oh, and Gorloc and Philo...believe it or not...it is NOT too late to sign up for the team. There is a $10 registration fee and then you need to raise at least $100. If you think you can do it ... GO FOR IT! Just let me know and I will add your names to my team. You have a home at our tent site...  |
