anywho, i guess that the story is right, where as long as you let your girlfriend (or boyfriend) be who they want. Man, i if used that, now that i think about it, i could probably get any girl i want in school, mainly because every girl in school is treated like either meat, or a playtoy. Unfortunately you're wrong Tobi. If you recall "Dear Doot" and Rev's earlier question about guys who are pricks are the ones who get all the women you'll find that girls respond BETTER to guys who treat them like trash when they first start dating. Then every now and again the guy lets up the reigns to make the girl feel she has some control but then he yanks on the reigns and yer back to square one.

Unfortunately not ALL the female race has evolved to the point of the witch in the story. Most are still pining for the guys that will eventually abuse them IE Sport Heros. Not ALL sport doods are abusers but most are because they feel THEY deserve the attention and who are you to deny it for them.

So yeah, that's why nice guys finish last basically means, "The mean guy beats the crap outta the girl till she can take no more and runs away. Then she finds a nice guy and beats the crap outta him and eventually gets tired of doin all the beating and either goes BACK to the previous beater or moves onto another and keeps the nice guy in a reserve tank."

Oh I love the story of Arthur & Knight of the Roundtable and Excalibur Sword too..(bought the sword on my visit to England last spring).. and hope to elope to England with Aiman and live happily ever after...

An interesting moral, there, Skylah.

However, I'd like to add (and I'm not trying to be chovanistic, though I'm sure it'll come out that way) it seems as if the woman in the story is being a bit... selfish. I certainly agree that it comes to a good end, and that it educates those who are of the opinion that women should not have a say in their lives (which they should ALWAYS have) but it seems as if she's being a bit calous in this story. She toys with more than one man's life in order to get exactly what she wants, and gambles with their happiness quite freely. I guess what I'm trying to say is that women deserve, and have, just as much power and freedom as men, but that, in my opinion, it's better to be honorable, honest, and good to other people.
But, after all, it's just a story, so who cares, right?
