X2 reviews - Don't give anything away tho!

Go see X2! It's worth your time. I'm probably the biggest X-Men fan here, and I couldn't find anything about the movie I didn't like.

The ending with the reflection of the Pheonix in the water was enought to want me to see X3 right after. lol

ooohhh me wanna go watch.. I heard the review saying there's 42 mistakes from the movie.. well I dunno, guess I have to find out..

And am goin to get the combo set of X2 too, the pendant is awesome.. eekk have to get 2 cos Aiman want a set too, he said they dont have the combo set in florida..

Well, I saw X-men 2 on Saturday and while it was a good movie I haveta say I liked the first one a bit more.

Umm, possible spoilers while I tear into this here movie.

First off, Yuriko NEVER spoke (Well, maybe to the hispanic guy emptying the garbage) and like Lady Death Strike died without you ever knowing who the hell she was?! And I thought Logan KNEW who she was but in the movie it was like..."Hey, a new opponent."

I think I may have it wrong but wasn't Striker the leader of that Canadian military project and didn't he have an eyepatch or am I way off? Might be thinking bout Spider-man.

And I haveta complain that the theater's film sucked cause I could BARELY make out the Phoenix at the end in the water.

I did appreciate that Wolverine FINALLY got to kill people which was a defenite plus.

But where was Sabertooth? Yes he fell off the statue in 1 but he has mutant healing abilities that surpass Logans. And if logan can take like 50 puncture wounds to the heart Sabertooth SURELY could have withstood a fall onto a boat.

And again Lady Deathstrike can't retract her claws! Plus she didn't have mutant healing abilities...Maybe they shoulda just stuck with callin her, "Yuriko, she's kinda like LDS only different."

My other qualm is Scott was all up in the movie for like 30 minutes then he's gone for an hour. Granted it was kinda cool how he showed up but dang man...Dang.

And Mystiques a whore all of a sudden. She's bangin Magneto and when she isn't she's bonin Logan....I always saw her as a villian not a slut to be passed around like so many doobies.

Oh and they said Cerebro takes an ass load of energy to run and the damn was powering it. Well, at the very end of the cool Cyclops pre-phoenix fight the generators are CLEARLY cracked and some busted wide open. Now I'm no nukular (hehehe) scientist but doesn't that render the generators useless and hence force Cerebro to shut down?

Pyro goin evil was good, Wolverine killing was good, storm (Like her name implies) *Blew* again, and the Phoenix will rise and expire in one movie since the director and actors were only slotted for 3 movies. So if it goes longer then more than likely expect new actors and a new director for number 4. (Think Batman Forever after Tim Burton lost control)

Magneto? Ok, well I definitely missed THAT part of the movie...musta been when I went out for a popcorn refill.

I'm with you on the Deathstrike qualms, but I'm not surprised they re-imagined her for the film. After all, as was the case with Sabretooth, anyone from Wolverine's past carries a lot of luggage with them. It's doubtful that in a movie that's SUPPOSED to star other characters than Wolverine that it'd get adequate development.

Seeing as how they were slating her to die at the end of the film anyway, my guess is that they didn't want to shove a backstory in sideways and try to get people to care about her as a character. After all the comics version of yuriko Oyama/Deathstrike is a tragic character, and you'd almost need the entire movie to really get her character down.

She was pretty much Wolvie fodder, as well as aplot device to get a really savage fight in for the end of the film.

Well, you never SAW Mystique bangin Magneto but when the comment was made that she was an amazing woman Magneto replied, "You don't know the half of it."

Plus in the Blackbird she was all over him and they were laughin and giggling like school children.

I think it would have been cool to build up a character to like the pinnacle of importance then kill em off. It'd be like...Kool.

heh...boinging magneto. If it was old school magneto...i could understand, but this magneto doesnt look like the type that shoud be getting boinged Very Happy
