The buttons are simple.
The first one is Attack, you click this one ON SOMEONE OTHER THAN YOURSELF (learned this the hard way) to attack that person...like so
(Razer pokes Sciler for 3 HP)
The second is Defend. It'll put you in a defense mode but I'm not sure how long it lasts or how much it blocks. Let's see!
(Razer pokes Sperrit and does 1 HP)
and the last is to heal. You can click your own or someone else's to heal that person. It takes away a random amount of XP (if I recall Shino's statement earlier. Let's see how much!
(Razer goes to heal Sciler...ahh, maybe not)

Also, you can attack 3 times before you have to post again to replenish the attacks, like so:
(attacks Razer for 5 hp)
(attacks Razer for 7 hp)
(attacks Razer for 1 hp)
