A Question for the Guys - *confused*

I don't know. I guess I don't really care if a guy dresses up like a girl, or whatever, but it seems kinda weird that someone would want to do it. I mean, isn't that like trying to change how you look because you don't accept what you look like normally? That's kinda why I never got make-up either. Just seems like they're not comfortable or accepting of who they are.

I see Sperrits point...to a point. If you wanna change your appearance to that which you are not, then it could indicate not being happy with who you are. But then again, how do you know that who they are isn't someone who like to dress up like a woman?

Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh. Didn't mean to be. Labels of any kind just generally drive me nuts. Probably because I've delt with silly little things like that all my life.

I've always felt my humor was great and I'm glad you've come to realize it too Mary.

I've stayed out of this topic for a while now but now I'm back. First Ming... Yes, Alice Cooper, Ozzy, and Korn wear womens clothes...But who the hell would think a bearded man and two guys who look like they died 20 years ago were women?

Doot Eddie Izzard DOES look good in his womens clothing but he STILL looks like a guy. If I saw him on the street I would not give into my primal want and need for some bootay and ask him on a date.

Them Female-male bands in Japan are COMPLETELY different. These guys LOOK like women to the extent of having like stuffed bras and shaving armpits and legs and trimming eyebrows and I swear they must use duct tape down there or they are quite the proverbial sex midget. I swear they would give Jenna Jameson, Carmen Electra, and Pamela Anderson (Not that I think any of these girls are too terribly hot but they lept to my mind as sexual icons of the 90's) a run for their money.

So dressing up as a girl is cool and all but NOT when you confuse guys cause like that's mean.

So the main objection come up from not being able to TELL that they're men? If that's the case I'd comend them because they've obviously done their job very well, but I think that Az is right. If you're going to the extent of cutting/growing hair, wearing padded bras, etc. then I'd say that you're just unhappy with the way you are, and that you have to deal with that. I mean, it's one thing to be a guy that likes to dress up in womens clothing (Ming's point, which is a good one) but it's another to want to BE a woman, which could be an indicator of lack of a sense of self, or perhaps that you ought to get surgery or something... it would all depend on the individual case.

Well, see, you guys're making it seem as though homosexuality is a bad thing. It's a different way of life. If a man wants to get with a man, then that's his business and noone else's. How colors get associated with it is beyond me-- purple is actually kind of a cool color, and I'm as straight as they come.

I thought we were talking about cross-dressing...? Cross dressing doesn't imply homosextuality.
And I think the reason the color purple is associated with Homosextuality is because that's the color of the symbol of their movement: A purple triangle.
*scratches head*
It was either purple or pink... but I think it was purple.

One time I saw something on the discovery channel on guys who felt that they had the soul of a woman and just a body of a man, like Nuriko from FY. I don' think there's anything wrong with that.... And not all of them are discontent with themselves either way.
Also, not all jrockers crossdress, and even some who do don't do it all the time. And they don't trick men into dating them or anything.... Rather than wanting to be women they just like women-y things. Like dresses. o_O; or something....
WHICH REMINDS ME.... wouldn't it be awesome to be in a relationship where you could share make-up and dresses and pretty pretty accessories!?
