I found out today that a very good friend of mines father died a couple of weeks ago. I wish I had known because I would have liked to have gone to the funeral, but I understand he has had a lot to deal with over the past couple of weeks and understand why he didn’t tell me sooner.
This man was a wonderful man. He had a wife and three wonderful sons, all who loved him very much. He was only 50 years old. It was not unexpected though. He has been fighting Thyroid Cancer for several years now and has gotten better, then worse again several times. Not too long ago it spread into his lymphnodes and he decided to go into experimental treatment. On May 15th, Bradfield Scranton lost his life to Cancer, but his memory will live on forever.
To the Scranton Family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.
Bradfield Scranton, you will be missed. Thank you for always making me feel so welcome in your home. You are, and always will be, an amazing individual. |

My moving and unique quote was eaten by the board gnomes. As a result, I'll just let you know that I'm hoping they can still find reasons to laugh and remember the good times. Death is as important as life, and we cannot forget that. |

That is correct, death is just as important as life. I just wish he could have survived Cancer. The cure is out there, it just has to be found! |
