I have an entrance Interview at The University of Oxford in England this September. I got in on provisional status, which, I did get in, but it all depends on this interview. I will be finishing up my undergrad there, then starting on my post grad. They don't have a graduate/master's degree program. So, I should get my Ph.D. in no time and not to mention, it is so incredibly cheap over there to go to school. For international students, it's like $15,000 for post-grad. Compared to NYU $30,000/year or Princeton $35,000/year. Wish me luck and maybe I will find the "right" guy over there. I mean, I am very intelligent and smart and outgoing, but why can't men see beyond that? Anyway....I shouldn't be so depressed that I loose my mind and go haywire (b/c that has already happened).

I will be starting a new life with new friends that appreciate me in England, hopefully....that is, if the interview goes well. I'm a little nervous about it. But, excited, in a way. Not to mention, my cousin's getting married!!! Over there in September!

Hey, Thanks Sciler! I think I'm gonna need it. And airline prices are not that bad right now. I got a round-trip ticket on Continental to England for $650. Or somewhere in that area. Not bad at all. I am very excited, yet very nervous. I would love to go live over there. And if I really like it....probably stay over there after I get my degree.

I would love it if you can come visit me! The more the merrier. And Oxford looks almost like a castle! Oh wait a minute....it is a castle! Just kidding....it just really resembles one. And actually, Princeton, Duke, Yale and UNC-Chapel Hill, their campuses were modeled after the University of Oxford. Which is pretty cool.

I think it kind of interesting that Oxford is one of the most difficult schools to get into in the world. I didn't think I could do it, but I had nothing to lose. So, I went for it, applied and got in on provisional status...which solely depends on this interview. I think what impressed them is the fact that I was able to work full-time and go to school full-time and still be able to keep a 3.5 GPA and also work with some of my professors with their research on the side.

This is what I am looking forward to, and this is what keeps me happy, is studying psychology. Me, a psychology major, getting depressed on how men treat me....lol, quite funny, don't ya' think?

I'll let you all know how it goes, and when I get back, I can probably post some pictures of the campus on here for you all to see....if I can do that? Can I put pictures up here?

Dood...have lots of fun if you get in to Oxford. Its a great school from what i hear...and its in one of the coolest places in the world! Yet, ive only spent a couple of hours in england, but it was cool regardless...now a cool place to go to would be Edinburough college, cuase its in scotland...and Scotland ROX

Actually, I looked at Eidenburgh College, but I wanted to be closer to family in England. Thanks so much for your support. It also depends on what kind of scholarships I can get, as well. I applied for one that will really help me. It's on that pays for travel to and from home for international students. I forgot the name of it because it's at home and I'm at work. Yeah, convention week at work here....so, I'm sitting in my office with shorts and a tank top on and flip flops. I mean, come on...how often do you get to go to work in that kind of stuff. So, I am taking full advantage of it!
