Escaflowne - AWESOME MOVIE!!

Who all out there have seen escaflowne. I hopemany have but i am kinda doubtful as i never moticed it until i saw an ad on the back of 'Anime Insider', I was really impressed with the graphics (if i'm correct they are the same people who did metropolis, the Osamu Tekmuza(sp?) movie version)um, all in all the plot was good and if you have surround sound you will enjoy this movie!!

Post Scriptum- um if anyone knows of any good anime i probubly haven't seen (lets keep it pg-13 ok?) feel free to msg me. Urm at the moment my neighbor HAS my anime insider and there is a sieries i wanted to see. It has a substitute teacher that has the ability to wield paper........she makes a katana out of money.......

Post Post Scriptum (im bored so im writing it out)- What do they mean in Cowboy Bebop when they say sessions, is it like episodes??

Escaflowne the movie would have been a LOT better if they used the same style as the series..The movie like REALLY screwed up the noses and you'd look on a place on their face where there shouldn't be nose and there'd be more nose.

Thats what i am saying... i remembered when i finally found a place that had it.. and all they had was the movie.. i was furious at how that turned out. so i went far and wide and finnaly found a place that sold the complete series... wont ever watch the movie again... dudes i would suggest going and seeing the series and trash the movie.

I really loved both the series and the movie o.o; The only thing that bothered me aboot the movie was Folken's mullet x_x; I liked his in the series, but the movie one... it frightens me o.o
Fushigi Yuugi and Magic Knight Rayearth both have the same kinda girl(s)-get-warped-into-different-world if you're looking for a theme similarish (kinda o_o;; ) to Escaflowne.... I also really liked those as well.
And yeah, sessions are just episodes.

Plus the whole craming an entire series into an hour and a half is NEVER a good Idea. Case in Point "X" the movie.

Then as i believe it the movie didn't even follow the series. I mean where in the series did it say anything about hatomi being the wind goddess..??? Dunno

but yes x the movie....

I have not seen fruits baskets, though I've heard its a good/cute series! I wanted 2 buy iy but alas not enough $ LOL! Oh well! Laugh

Well, it does follow it on an outside premise. I mean she comes into the world..Her world starts phasing into the new one "IE CD's and small electronics" Escaflowne gets all black and evil but then gets under control and takes down the bad doods in a glorious battle. And Dilandau (I think that's the crazy doods name) is in fact one crazy son-of-a biyatch.
