Your problem is ... Windows... it just sux ass!
If you were running anything but NT, 2000, or XP PRO (not home, it sux) I would upgrade. 98 is trash, ME is more trash.
I use 2K at work and it is pretty stable.
I use XP pro at home, it's less stable then 2000, but stable enough.
My linux box never has a problem... but alas, it is not supported with the needed programs for me.
Before I put linux on my old computer I ran Win 98 and had tons and tons of problems. I upgraded to 2000 and just about all of them went away... of course it introduced new problems, but not as many. |

If it was up to me I'd be on Linux faster than a monkey on a bannana. Unfortunately like you said, I have progs that don't see eye-to-eye with Linux. While if only I used my comp for games I'd be happy with the big L, but I use it for my hobby of editing perfectly good Anime and music together to form either steamy piles of dooky or pure gold. And my MGI (Video capture device) and *borrowed* copy of Adobe Premiere (video editor which edits video captured by MGI) tend not to agree with Linux...Not to mention all the progs that get those ones to work. Video cars Sound cards USB hubs. And 98 has been good to me and normally I can fix stuff but this time it's outta my league and I ain't gonna pay someone $300 to do the same thing I'm gonna do this afternoon. Oh well, and if this don't work it'll simply push me closer to buying a new comp....Yay! |

Well, most of my stuff is only on CD now. I was the creator of "Pentiums" which featured SMJ, BGC, and Buttobi CPU. I also did a Ranma one for Ozzy's Mamma I'm coming home. I'm not proud of that one cause I stole scenes from the Walk 500 miles video of ranma fame. It came out REALLY well but I still get belittled for theft. I have many others that are good IMHOP. I use a lot of Ranma and DBZ and try to sneak in SMJ whenever I can. I did one featuring Ogenki clinic, Ranma, and Ninja scroll to Offspring's "Want you bad". Right now I'm doing one to Evangelion and LP's "Tried so Hard" I ain't the best (The best being Jestmaster and NeoGohanSan) but for the lack of computer I have I'm damn good. Only problem is I have no host and I lost my Broadband so all I can do is burn CD's. I think Doot has a fair number of my vids so you can harrass her for em. Or after I restock my blank CD's I can probably send em out...But first I haveta get over my producers block. |

i do and all she does is goes into chat rooms and watches other peoples conversations and sometimes just sits there staring at the screen for no frigin reason...
it really makes me mad so maybe yall should feel lucky...yall dont feel my pain.(unless you have younger sisters over the age of 10)  |

I got a 21 year old sister. I'd say that that's cool cause she's old enough to buy me alcohol, but 1. I don't drink and 2. She wouldn't do that for me in a MILLION years! It's all good, though. She's a good kid, really. I know it may seem like she's pretty terrible, but she's really a good kid. We just DO NOT get along with each other.
