Righty: I would argue that it implied, since VH1 is making the list. So "100 greatest songs" is an accurate title, IMO.
I think it's a very good list, actually. Can't really tell someone their opinion is wrong, after all it is music and opinions on that matter are subjective. |

Well ya there are tons of other good/great songs around but VH1 thought these were the best, Its all about how you look it at! |

Traitor! Ok ok...No more thwackin...But Righty's right (hehehe) these are more chart toppers than greatest song I mean Ozzy Ozzbourne didn't make the list let alone Black Sabbath.
And wasn't "Born in the USA" during Nam which was like late 60's early 70's? I'm fairly certain that Nam ended in 1976 but maybe I'm thinking about Korea ending in '56. |

I agree with you. VH1 should start naming these things -
"Top 100 Songs That We Randomly Chose Out Of A Hat"
or
"Top 100 Songs We Threw Darts At"
They are steadily discrediting themselves of any type of knowledge of music. |
