I think that Irwin was the best character, but I never even saw the final boss... I got to the end, but it got too hard so I stopped, and then I let someone borrow it and never saw it again... |

Lol...i have to admit, FFVIII would be a great possibility for an FF soap opera. Then, there were (in my opinion) too many plot twists as well.

Hmm. I'll agree to the extra plot twists, although they all eventually got down to who the real sorceress was. The time-travelling bit I could have done without, but the relationships between Edea and the characters was a nice touch. |

i got into that game back in 9th grade about 4 years ago,
wow this entire time ive never got bored of the story line cause its that great of a game 
i couldnt believe that the begining of the game is when the characters beat ultimacia and failed to meet up with each other thus creating a time flux which was final fantasy 8 |

Before you read this, just know: I am going to flame this game!
1: The Junction/Draw system SUCKS.
2: Concept for the gun blade WEAK!
3: Remodeling weapons LAME.
(I personally thought that if they could just be taken apart that one day they would just FALL apart. [<---Please note the lack of Suspension Of Disbelief])
4: The card game in FF9 was explained a little better and had less "locality variables" that I could tell. I really dug the combo system.
5: The characters were cool enough but Squall was at his best in Kingdom Hearts. As cool as KG is that's not saying much for Squall. (Besides the name Leon sounds so much cooler. "Squall" always made me think of a baby crying.). The characters in 9 were much better in my opinion (maybe because I'm a fan of the old school FF1 classes and Vivi was a badass, though Quina was a waste of binary code)
