anything, evil minions to the actual baddies (like the orcs in the lord of the rings) or just creatues that have become evil due to an unknown power (like PSO and FFIX) what would be cool is the ringwraths from lotr in the game, ewll not exactly them but something similar.

plus ive decided to do the game in chapters then release them one by one, then once ive finished the story ill release it as one game, and maybe even make a sequel Wink

Hey, I like the ringwrath concept, only, to make that concept fit into the PocketOtaku context, the wrath could be one or more character from an other world huh, let say, US manga type kind of characters? and they'd be out to convert the PocketOtaku world into a Marvel Comic! Noooooo! That's be a little discriminatory towards US comic art but still ^^;;

lol sounds cool tho, but the characters will be fictitious (even tho its fan art im not risking my ass being sued!!) and anyways, all ideas are welcome and when it comes to me needing the ideas (which wont be long, ive almost finished myself and got a cple of characters in line to create) then ill just lookie here Wink

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Pocket Otaku is a copyrighted element. Any and all games/characters/references pretty much anything Pocket Otaku related must be cleared through Pocket Otaku first before you go along. Since we (the staff) are working around the clock on different projects for Pocket Otaku, we retain the rights to do as we wish INSIDE the perameters of this website alone.

I am interested in such an RPG but would like to speak further on the matter with you. Thanks to everyone who is interested, but please refrain from working on this project further without my permission.

yes, i agree, doot. a lot of the folks from psotakus had gotten ideas since the advent of psotakus saga. however, the difference from psotakus and pocket otaku is that pocket otaku is a business. it makes it sound harsh to say that but it is true. everything that has the pocket otaku name on it needs be approved by doot (i consider her the queen bee--this IS her baby and brain child) because it is a representation of the business. pocket otaku is a copyright entity and you can't do anything without permission; in context, you couldn't make an rpg of starwars without the rights to it first even if its for fan--itll get shut down. people can write fan fics and draw pics but creating a game (which is something more lucrative and bigger deal) needs approval of the doot. it also needs to be on the pocket otaku site and can't be from another site which yours is and to do even that you would need to talk to doot about it. nogrick had friz's approval and help to a degree.
