you know it's funny.... I got the resident evil DVD the other day, and watched it the day before I saw this movie. (just coincidence, i didn't plan it like that).

I actually didn't find it to be anything like Resident Evil. It's about as close to it as it is to any other zombie movie.

The story was a way different style from anything resembling resident evil, and the "infected" were portrayed differently as well.

Resident Evil was what it was, which is to say an action oriented pesudo-horror flick, and "28 days later" is what it is, which is a European style horror flick, reminiscent of the 1960's movies of the same type.

when I first started watching it, i didn't know anything about it. A friend just invited me one day. I didn't know what to expect. It had that subdued sort of directorial style that you just don't see these days.

I think if you were expecting a hollywood movie, or "resident evil 2", then you would be dissapointed, but that would be entirely your fault for expecting this to be something it's not.

Ugh. I didn't mean to type this much. Suffice to say that while It's not my favorite movie of all time, I wholeheartedly support the production and directorial aspects within it.

i kind of wanna see it, and i wanna see it then with it's second ending, or whatever thingy it has along with it

I hate hate HATE when movies pull this stunt. "We didn't make enough money the first go round, so let's tag it with a '2nd Ending' so that people will come back and watch it."

it';s not as bad as most movies the new ending is the british ending. the american film, industry think we don't wnat to see the real ending so they make a new one for or movie version.(oh side note the british 28 days later has a lot more gore and stuff that the american one doesn't)
