Now my question is do you HAVE to have a party or can you just go at the game alone?

That's the one thing I hated about all the Baulders Gates games on PC you HAD to have a party and everyone in it was stupid cept my char so they died like flies to a bug zapper.

KOTOR woulda been perfect if they had a multi-player function thrown in. So that if someone sucked at the game you can't say it's just the game screwin with ya. You can call and verbally abuse yer friend or punch them in the arm if they're next to ya.

You don't have to have a party, in most situations. In some, you have to bring someone along. Even though, they just have to be in that area. So, you can enter solo mode as soon as you get to the area. I do it on my own, mostly because my party doesn't trust me anymore, being evil and all...

OOooh, Lone jedi.

Another problem I have is the whole right and wrong thing. WHile light force LEANS toward defensive and dark is more offensive it isn't very fair to say a dark jedi is evil.

Just because you want ultimate power doesn't mean you can't help people. It's all about perspective. Which is why Jedi Knight is an appealing game in that you invest your points into skills but it doesn't effect your over-all char.

But I digress. This game and the fighting game where you actually break bones during a fight and victory is through incapacitation and not life bars make me almost desire to have me X-box back... If only they had more games worth my time.

If you want to fight, go out and beat each other with sticks until you are covered with bruises and drenched with sweat, so tired you can barely lift up your head to drink the water bottle thrown at you by someone who would never fight and yet stil looks at you with scorn for making her boring job nessiccary, and being weak enough to need water. When you finally gather enough energy to crawl out of your armor and into a bar, the drinks you share with fellow warriors are real, as well as the upcoming hangovers.

Az, yes you may be able to play it on a 1.8 GHz pc as opposed to the 700 MHz Xbox. But keep in mind that the xbox only does games... you will play the game and have to deal with the horrible resource management of windows... you probably won't get much better performance.

And considering that KOTOR is HD compatible... you may not get that much better of rez either... Well ... that's not true... but I can dream right.

Nothing like playing this game with the surround sound blaring on a 55" HD Widescreen. Let me tell you!

And yes... I will be buying Jedi Academy. Love that series! Good stuff.

Yes but my 1.8 GHZ also has my 768 (Whatever) Ram workin for it along with the 128 MB V-Ram. And a front side Bus that is quite respectable...Though I don't know what it is.

I could bash X-box s'more but I've made my point and won't dilly-dally.

As for the dark side as offense, light as defense, guess what you can do? Pick abilities from either side. Of course, if you're light side, and you use a dark ability, it costs more mp.
