A foot lands on Akira's face. The camera of imagination tilts upward to reveal a face that was-
The camera tilts back downward again.
The face was once ugly, and has only grown uglier with time and battle. An off-kilter nose, glaring eyes, sneering mouth, and smell all give the small one away as a dwarf. But he's too thin, not stocky enough to be a dwarf. After a couple of minutes of semi rational thought, one might come to the realization that the small peice of finely tuned living machinery that was standing before him two seconds ago and is now shattering his kneecaps with a small hammer is actually a gnome. But only through process of elimination. He/It is too odd to be anything else. His eyes fix lovingly and longingly on the half-emptied beer stein that sits on the bar. Lovingly because he is a drunk. Longingly because he is a meager three feet tall. Making up for his lack of height, however, he has certain other talents
*jump*
which, as he soars through the air over the beer stein, will help him considerably in the next few seconds. He has an extremely high pain threshold and an abnormally hard head for a gnome. This is the result of many years beating his head against the wall as his fellows, following the gnomish tradition of knowledge-seeking, quickly master the convoluted pathways of addition and quickly move on to conquer new territories. The sputtering head rises above the pile of debris behind the bar, shaking its head madly and cursing those long ago days of missed geometry. Then it fixes on the stein again and another launch carries the gnome, successfully this time, up towards the beloved refuge of hefty alcohol. After downing the stein, the Gnome falls off of bar, on the customer side, and lands, snoring happily away like an avalanche, on top of Akira. On his belt is written, in badly spelled english:
"Maiz-Gower an Fiter eckstrordnayr"

[Happo]

Happo, antenna twitching madly, teleports in with a *pop* and slowly approaches the passed out Gnome. *pant* Kewl! A real Gnome! and a newly aquired tentacle (thin and purple) snakes out of Happo's sleeve with a testube with a cell-scraper. As the tentacle gets closer, the Gnome gives a snort and rolls over. Slowly, the tentacle gets within range and quickly takes a scraping of the Gnome's arm. Happo mutters, "Alright! Maybe I can figure out how they can sense jewels and precious metals underground, heh heh!" And the tentacle disappears in Happo's sleeve.

*snores louder*

[Ultrawolf]

eeww WHAT IS THAT?!?!?!?!! ultrawolf stares at the gnome

[Happo]

Happo eyes Ultrawolf, antenna pointing in his direction and waving slowly. "You are more than you appear...." quickly, Happo moves to Ultrawolf's side and holds out a skin scraper and a test tube. "Mind making a donation? It's for a good cause!" With a glance at the gnome, Happo laughingly kicks the gnome in the head, only to hop around with a throbbing foot. "Dang! This guy's head is harder than a rock!" Tears streaming (in a manly way of course!), Happo returns to Ultrawolf, "So about that skin sample donation?"

The gnome wakes up with a hangover. This being his normal state of being anyway, he is unsurprised and almost unaffected. Looking around, however, he speculates for a short time on what might have actually been in that beer stein...Antennae were not usually featured in his normal line of dreams.

[Diablo]

Diablo walks back and sees the gnome and thinks nothing of it.Diablo hands happo a dragon shield made of the wings. "this is um for you?...i guess you can also have this spare wing.."
