well...here it is at...9:50 pm on sunday...and i just got home from a very....how should i say...Unexpected experiance...moshing for the first real time...just let me say, its nothing like what people think it is. it was extremely fun and i had a good time running into different people and hitting them at random with my freinds steven,joe,and andrew, while amber watched us beat the living daylights out of ourselves, and other people to very good music at tompson park. the bands were: Tribal, Downpoint, and some other, but another local band offered me a position as a bass player in which i will be going to next weekend. i fractured my hand which is wrapped up and my leg was hit in a spot that makes me unable to walk without a limp.i will not be moshing for a very long time...a question to all you po'ers out there...have any of you ever been in a real moshpit, and if you haven't...dont try it. |

I have...only really twice though. Once with Tobias, Righty, and Rev when we went to see the Bosstones. It was more of a circle pit (you basically mosh while running around in a big circle). The best part, however was that it was outdoors and it was raining all day, so mud was EVERYWHERE. I took pictures which have still yet to be developed. The should be soon (finally) and then I'll post the pictures. It's quite amusing, actually.
The other time was when I went to an underground punk show at the Knitting Factory in NYC. The band was Dillinger 4, who was pretty cool. I wasn't actually in the pit, but right on the outskirts, and I was getting knocked around like crazy. That pit was nuts...it moved like one giant blob of people. Quite dangerous, but a lot of fun.
At some point, I'll get into some sort of hard rock pit...the kind that people tend to get hurt in. It looks like a lot of fun, and I'm a pretty big guy, so I shoud be safe.

YEah been in a mosh at a korn concert.... you have to patch out for perverts and pointy objects when your a female but other than that it was fun thrashing people then i broke my elbow hehe but it was worth it I think :anime: |

It's hard to imagine a mosh pit at a Bosstones concert. ~_~
but the only time i've been moshing is at a Rob Zombie show. It was pretty nuts, tell you what. |

my left wrist is swollen, and i have a bruise the size of a baseball on my leg,which i cant take 10 steps with without my leg trying to drop out from under me....i got hit in the arm with a spike bracelet...but hey, it was awesome...i am definantly going to try it again, not soon, but definantly something i will do many times more in my life... |

i think ming or tobs will tell you, despite my size i am a dangerous mosher. i learned young. i really like moshing, its almost relaxing, cus it lets you get a lot of anger out on people you will never meet again in your life. i wanted to go to ozzfest, see korn, chevelle, disturbed, manson, and all them, but i couldnt cus my parents are mean 
and senkir, the bands before bosstones were voodoo glow skulls and catch 22, both of which were LOUD. |

well today is ozzfest down here i think...im not sure but i know that next year i will definantly be at it...downpoint played very fast and so did tribal...but i know that my cuz tried to show me what it was...and the real thing was nothing like it...
i wonder what moshing is like at a hatebreed concert...ouch. |
