Volleyball - Gee, can you ever guess which sport I do

Yes... This little Sakura has started off playing volleyball today.

Well sorta.. I've played all summer, but I've started school practice today! w00t! I know all the esentials ( thanks for my dad ) w00t w00t!

Yes I did ^^ She is one of the captains :3 today we have a game, but I'm not gunna play in it cuz I'm the n00b. Anyways... I impressed the coach with a couple of "smart" moves. Like crouching, waiting for the ball to come towards em, with my hand down by my sides, and if it's aimed for the head you put your hands in front of your face for a pass, or if it's low, you bump it. She said it was a good move :3

Oh yea! I also got my uniform yesterday. They gave the n00bs jerseys, but also the new ones that everyone has. So my jersey is number 25 and the new, short sleeves one ( like my teen girl squad shirt) is number 4! ^_^ Whee! Oh and they also gave us booty shorts

Ha!way to go Sakura ive been at school for a few weeks now and i forgot to sign up for football!Waaa.but i did get to sign up late hehe!!im a line man woot woot!but Sak i think its funny they gave you booty shorts ha also what school?

lol...i remember my highschool gym days of Volleyball. I could have been good, but the laziness factor just seemed to kick in: That, and im not as tall as many of the volleyball players. Also, im a baseball player, but i havent played baseball all throughout highschool, due to the fact that they keep cutting me for not being able to run, so ive just given up...that, and everyone else goes to Sports camps over the summer, and my folks just cant afford that kind of schooling, so muah Smile

It's not that they can't afford it, its just that a) you wouldn't go anyway nor have expressed interest, and b) our summers are usually busy anyway.

I tried out for the high school volleyball team my freshman year. I thought I was good, but I guess the coach thought otherwise because I didn't make the team. I don't care though...it was fun to try anyway, and it's better I didn't end up with those snobby little brats anyway.

i guess ur right bro...i thought i had natural baseball talent, and then KAPLOOIE!!! i got cut from the baseball team. Woe is me Sad

Oh well, im glad ive got my afternoons to me, becuase i can do more things to benefit myself Smile
