My current D&D character is a human monk named Gar Valdis. He's not ubber powerful but he's still badass.

Now my brother on the other hand has some of the most badass characters ever. One of em is an elder, which is basicaly a god. He earned every bit of it though. He's a human named Wolfgang, and I forget what his class is. At one point he almost went nuts when his entire familly got killed. He tortured one og the guys that did it till he begged to die, then he just left him there. He escaped from a dungeon with only a bag of gold coins he sharpened the edges of.

His other character is an evil human wizard named Phobeus. I don't think you can find anyone more evil. Right now he's rulling his domain in Ravenloft that's about the size of a country.

i played for many years during the 2nd edition rule of things.. 3rd is a bit suckey as far as the combat goes.. so ive just decided that i would use my free time and make up my own role playing game based off of DnD and GURPS. My world is getting pretty big... just now starting to fill in the specifics of it.. i think the hardest thing is to come up with the distinc names in a game... you cant have 3000 people with the name ben..

anyhow though i do have a standing character...

Stats dont really matter cause i cant play him anymore anyway but the special thing about him is that he owns a set of keys that just kindof open up doors to anywhere anytime... his current occupation is gatekeeper of the universe. But i dont play him anymore.. he pops up once and a while in books that i write or games with lower level characters. But if anybody is in atlanta and still plays drop me a line or two and let me see whats up... really wanting to learn 3rd edition without reading.. hehe im lazy

Realtive newbie to RPGing, only six years or so. But what a six years.

I'm most comfortable DMing, myself. My group uses the d20 system predominantly, but we don't play the DnD setting per se.

Current campaign is based on our Onward Bound comic...which is a sort of fantasy/stempunk hybrid. Gunslinger elves, gnome engineers, back street martial arts hoodlums, and of course, there's the dwarven mafia....

Yeah when i played i mainley went with a world where there was a lot of magic or very little at all or kindof mechwarrior type campains... ahh creative juices are a flowing... looks like im going to work on the world tonight...

Fun thing about White Wolf games-- I have a Vampire character whose favorite move is to kick people in the nuts. It hurts them worse than punching them in the chest or something. The character has a low strength score, so he needs to do as much damage as possible. =\

My only D&D experience is little, but i so wanted to play a lot. I had an elven paladin named Altymus with 18 strength, so I picked up my brothers halfling once and chucked him into a hole, which was pretty fun.
