Lots of time now usually produces better play later. Getting it all down and in one's head is a completely unique thing. Every now and then, there have been looks at the book backstage... |

I remember doing Aladdin at my high school. I was a dragon and got this kick butt costume and got to play with awesome pyrotechnics. I also had to learn some kinda fruity dances, but hey, it was for the kids. It was a blast!
But as far as your lines go, before you know it you know everyones lines in the play. It just sort of happens, especially wiff techies who make fun of everyone's characters...oops |

Thanks Happo! Whew today was my only day off this week and i was swaped iwth hw, and CMT'S! BLEH! But its worth the effort! The play is turning out great, we dont have tons of time though opening night is dec. 5 i think..?lol oOoOo Nogrick lol techies are WAY cool, they totally run the whole production, they are definitley the backbone of it all! Woohoo techies. Oklahoma is kinda corny sometimes lol but its still fun, and my lines are coming along well, most memorized. |

Right. Now, make sure you know everyone else's lines... especially the ones that will become your cues, because if someone drops one, you acn gently remind them of it if you have to.
As for singing, it'd take me a few tries to get it right, since I have only enough ear quality to tell whether I'm in the harmony or not. |
