Demonic vs. Musashi - Sparification. No, that isn't a word.

Demonic leads Musashi to the lesser-used arena of Miniopia, where matches aren't going on all day. He turns to him after leading him onto the field, and nods, taking a few paces back. An announcer wakes up, then leaps to his feet and cries, "Ladies and gentleman, let the fight begin!"

Demonic bends forward slightly, swords backhand, energy crackling and dancing in the air around him. Flames rise from his eyes as he anticipates this battle, which he knows will not be easy.

Azurel wakes up from his place on the arena floor.

"mmm...yay a fight..."

He slowly gets up and drags himself to the stands to watch. As he wakes up more he gets more excited, seeing as how there hasn't been a fight in a long time.

"Azurel, try this to wake you up." Az looks up to see a steaming cup of coffee in his immediate vicinity. The cup is being held by Airius, who is taking a seat right next to the Void Mage. "looks to e a good fight, but my money's on Musashi."

Musashi enters the arena, and walks to the center, stopping about 10 strides in front of his opponent. A cool wind rushes by him, blowing his braid and cape to one side. His sword lies in its sheath attached to his belt, while his swallow is held loosely in his steady hand. With a spin of his swallow and a flourish of his cape, the elemental takes his attack stance and nods his approval to Demonic. Unlike his adversary, no apparent energy can be seen around his body, save for a slight silver tint in Musashi's eyes, as the warrior remains calm and dignified.

"When you are ready..."

The ground around Demonic suddenly catches fire--and so does the rest of the arena as Demonic's crackling energy subsides, and the ground is completely covered in flames, which includes the ground under Musashi.

Musashi watches the flames spread throughout the room. Though the flames move quickly, his time influenced vision makes them appear to move slower, giving him time to react. Just as the flames appear to consume him, the warrior vanishes, timeporting elsewhere while the flames remain. Suddenly, he appears above demonic, his swallow mysteriously vacant and sword now drawn. Musashi's eyes now glow green as a rushing wind swirls about his sword, causing the fire to part away as he drops swiftly upon his opponent, blade downward.

Demonic is unable to react in time.

However, his swords are. They fly up of their own accord to deflect Musashi's attack. Demonic, meanwhile, leaps up to grab their hilts. They keep him suspended, and Demonic swings around to kick at Musashi. All this is done in a very short period of time.

Surprised by Demonic's quick counter, Musashi is kicked in the chin by the swinging Demonic, causing him to lose grip on his sword's hilt. Musashi flies off in one direction, leaving his sword frozen in the air, much like demonic's swords, their blades still touching. As Musashi flies backward, his eyes glow yellow and his sword ignites in electricity, sending the lightning jolt down its blade, and to Demonic, through his own swords. Meanwhile, Musashi again vanishes, reappearing a few yards behind demonic, his swallow now in tow. A small trail of blood oozes from his chin as the elemental launches himself into the air, poised to strike at Demonic's back.

Demonic's swords' hilts conduct no electricity, their demon material not allowing it to pass. However, the blades do, and Demonic, who is standing on the blades and watching Musashi vanish, quickly spins and moves, but not fast enough due to being shocked. Musashi's swallow tastes flesh. Demonic's swords suddenly leap to either side of Musashi's swallow while he's recovering from making the attack and latch onto it in a scissor hold, and try to fling it away from his grasp. Demonic lands lightly below and begins chanting.

Still off balance from his last attack, Musashi's swallow is knocked away and sent skidding across the arena floor, but vanishes as it comes to a stop. Musashi leaps back from Demonic's swords, placing his hands together in mid-air where a small sphere of green energy forms. As he lands a few strides back, the elemental thrusts his hands forward sending a torrent of wind energy at Demonic's swords, hurling them across the arena. Musashi summons his sword to his hand and then turns his focus on Demonic. His eyes again glow with an unearthly silver light.
