Free cheese! (a true story)

(Based on a true story)

The gods smiled on me yesterday, for I was the finder of cheesy goodness ... in block form ... on the floor. I caught a glimpse of the cheese in question from behind the counter and immediately did a double take.

"Is that cheese?" I pondered.

I decided to take a closer look. Surverying my surroundings I came to the conclusion that no one was around, and on tippy toes, calmly walked up to the block of cheese.

"CHEEDAR and it's medium!" I yelled quickly placing my hand over my mouth.

While blocking view of the cheese with my shoes, I slowly reached down, grabbed it and placed it into the safety of my pocket.

Suddenly I was overwhelmed with guilt, "What if that cheese was someone elses?"

I decided to set the cheese aside, behind the counter and wait to see if the rightful owner would show. "They must be worried sick ..." I thought.

Nervously I waiting for eight o'clock to come and when no one showed to claim the cheesy goodness, I held it aloft and saying, "HUZZAH the cheese is mine!" Which would be considered odd to some, but fortunately I was the only person around.

I ran to the grocery store and bought Nacho's and hot sauce. For what goes better with cheedar, then Nacho's?

:: looks sad:: it was my cheese... i know it was... there was this bird and it flew away with my cheese one day and I jumped in my car and followed him threw bush and field and house. When it finally stopped it had dropped the cheese somewhere along the way. It dropped on my car and started to laugh at how it hid it without me knowing. I cried....
