Man monday was awesome.

We got to see the Giants fall.
We got to see the Cubs win (even though I live in atl and like the braves, I'm sick of them getting there and losing EVERY TIME)

Now we get to see the Red Sox win thier ALDS coming back from 2 games down

Then an awesome display of Monday night football with the colts scoring a record 21 pts in the last 3 minutes of the game to force overtime and win the game.

Yes I do think that penalty on the first field goal attempt in OT was bogus, but you knwo what, whatever works, as long as Tampa Bay doesn't win. Laughing

Oh well, just wanted to state my thoughts!

And thats not all...the Yankees are now paired up to go up against the BoSox...that is sure gonna be a great game...in my opinion, a game worth seeing more than the actual World Series.

anywho, i hope that hte yankees win that, though i wouldnt really all that attested to the BoSox to getting in for once...they havent been this close since 1918. What a harsh HARSH world.

That is all

You can hate me for thinking that SUNDAY was the superior sports day.....Dante Hall (MVP of the NFL if you didn't know) scored a TD on a punt for the 4th game in a row, and it was also the TD that put KC ahead for good. BWAHAHAHA!!!!

It's still very early in the season Gekko.

The broncs have gone to the super bowl every year they have ever been 4-0.

The broncs also dominated that game offensively and defensively. But everyone gets lucky on special teams every once in a while.

It's not every day Jason Elam misses a field goal.

We will see what happens when KC goes to Denver, then you can have your bragging rights if they win that one.

Oh wow. Look what I found.

I wish I could have watched the game sunday to see this and yell at my TV.

from ESPN

Stat of the Week No. 6: Dante Hall of Kansas City now has four kick-return touchdowns in five games -- tying the NFL season record set in 16 games. (But why has the sports-announcer world not pointed out that Hall benefited from an obvious clipping no-call just as he broke away for Sunday's 93-yard score?)

So what really happened is the Broncos got screwed out of a win yet again. That's ok though, that seems to happen to them a lot. I'm used to it. But at this point, I will continue to know that the Broncos are a great team this season and I would bet the make the playoffs.

In better news... on the same page...

Sweet Play of the Week: With the unseen battle of the undefeateds scoreless in Kansas City, Denver took over on first-and-10 at its own 20. Receiver Rod Smith took the end-around running right, then threw a pass 30 yards in the air to tailback Clinton Portis; Portis went 72 yards, setting up the game's first touchdown. Downfield blocking was superb. TMQ cannot explain why, but trick plays seem to work best if they come on the first snap of a possession.

W00T! ^_^ I know how you mean, Shino. Everybody here loves the Braves, but, I've been a Cubs fan since Sammy Sosa vs. Mark McGuire. Needless to say I was/am ecstatic about their win.

First time they've won a post-season game since 1908.

We will see.

I have always been one to root for the underdog.

I would love to see the cubs win.

yesterday was sloppy. They should have never been in that position in the first place.
