This is by far the most shocking documentary-movie I've seen in my life, yet the best. I suggest it for everyone ... but be careful tho, you might not like a certain country at the end <_< (or after 1/3 of it)

I wouldn't be suprised someone end up doing a terrorsit act after seeing this movie ttoward a ''certain country''.

I don't like Michael Moore or his ideas, but I will damn well give him credit on his ability. Realize that I am not all that political to begin with.

I haven't had the chance to see this movie, but I did see Life with Roger. And that movie did make me feel like what was going on was unfair...but afterwards, I felt also cheated. I know what he did was manipulation of the footage to make it say what his ideas were and got them across well. He is good at what he does, I will not deny him that, whether I agree with him or not.

Beleive me, at some points, you see he manipulates the footage, it's quite hypocritical of him, and sad at the same times he feels the need to go that low to proove his ideas, when actually, it could have been a good documentary without all that crap, I haven't even paid freakin attention to his silly propaganda-like acts, but he was building his propaganda from some facts, and that was enough to shock, he doesn't have to build fake things around the truth and the facts, if you feel you have to do that in life, then you're either dumb, or desperate, since you feel it's what is needed for people to open there eyes and see.

I suggest you go rent it. Personnaly, I'll rent it again. Might even buy it.

That whole History of America was, to me, bit fake. He makes it seem as if America was built on fear and hatred. The gun statistics were true but it does, once again, make America look like a nation filled with homocidal maniacs. But there are some parts that did seem right, like the whole South Central deal. Sure on TV it looks like a big ghetto but its like every other neighborhood. Micheal Moore can be a little fanatical with his views. If he wasn't like this maybe he'd be more respected. And whats the deal with him and Bush?

I'm still wondering why they never revoked his award for that. With all the fiction in that thing it can't be cnsidered a real documentary.

Indeed, well, maybe because the shocking parts of truth that are being reveiled in this is enough to get an award, even if it was covered up with crasy exagerations and minor footage editions. If he wouldn't have added all the ''fake'' parts, he would have probably been dead by now ... ''shot'' by someone angry of how unfair it would have been to have a full documentary on a country that speaks the truth for 100%. What can you say against the truth? You can't disagree or agree, you can only accept it or not accept it. And he still lives today because the people succeptible of killing him had there anger lowered by convincing themselves that it's all a lie, since part of the documentary is a lie. I understand why he did that, if that is the reason, even if it's not, I think I understand, yet, I don't aproove.

I don't know if anyone said this but a student at Harvard or something picked apart his movie scene by scene. He took protesters from one rally and said they were at another. Then he took NRA quotes out of context. Plus he said things like the NRA planned a gun meeting 2 weeks after Columbine which was true but NRA did this like 6 months BEFORE the incident and they even cancelled it because of the tradgedy.

This Michael moore guy is a pile of crap and I hope he never directs ANYTHING again.

It'd be all good if all his documentaries were meant to be jokes but he's like SERIOUS. He thinks that taking things out of context and fenagaling footage is A-OK. I wouldn't be surprised if he does a documentary on the Iraqi war we just had and uses footage from WW2 of us blowin up Hiroshima. Then say something like, "America says they never used Nuclear weapons (Leave out the "In Iraq part") then show Hiroshima getting blowed up.

When this guy dies I'm gonna do a documentary on him about how his brain was fried from snorting crack off a dead hookers belly while screwin some broad dressed as Skeletor from He-Man!
