I know Cobbi writes music. I have your Cathedral piece and the battle theme you made for the PSOtaku Saga but I never had the chance to use it. It's very good, and original which I likes very much, Like a fat kid likes cake.

And yeah, the FFT sprites wouldn't work because they're diagonal. I'm not sure if the ff6 sprites will work, but I can try. I also need pictues for the battles, but i think and can make those out of current PO's. Also my I think the site where i got my stuff is down, but you can find alot of hits for RPG Maker 2000 through yahoo or google.

Story will probably be the easiest thing to do. My story plan was to be "The Battle for Miniopia". I want to try and stick to stories that have already been made too. And of course I want to include things like The Kilted Wench and stuffs like that. Bad Guys, i dun know (?AzVegeta, Aiman, others?), but i did want to use Doot as the main Good character. But I really need to look at profiles and stuff that people have written and any story help is much appreciated.

I think the hardest part would actually be making maps. I only know how they stumped me sometimes. Gall dern Forest Elves!!! After level design, everything else just falls into place.

But yeah That's what i'd like to do.

Just make sure that you get requisite permissions and that to do the creative stuff. I think we've run into that issue before.

I did an similar RPG on PSOtakus it was pretty well, you can still go and look it up if you want, you'd have to log in on PSOtakus, (you can still log in, I can still POST LoL) but if you want to see it, log in and go to the bottom of the Index, I also tried making a RPG on RPGMaker but altho I hadn't much exp on RPG Maker it was pretty good, although I eventally scraped it cause I couldn't complete it due to 1. Closeure of site 2. Got stuck on RPG Maker.

But I think there should be a seperate forum for it on this site, you could ask Doot or Shino

I'm not so sure if there is a site up and running where you can dl RM2K, but you can try searching it, using RPG Maker 2000 and Don Miguel as your search words.

And I did get to pull of an RPG for PSOtakus as well. From the reaction it got, everyone seemed to like it. But I had to give up the project. A: All my main char didn't post on the board anymore, so the jokes were kinda lost for the newer types. B: I got stuck trying to develop a forest village. C: Didn't have the time to do it. But recently I've gained some free time so I'm willing to take up a cause again.

Well, I dunno how this RPG maker works. But if you need help you can ask me and whoever volunteers. I mean, each of us has a different ability. I can do some Photoshop work and After Effects, like masking and tracking. And of course, I can do 3D work as well. Im sure that there's ppl here who can do better in PS that I can, cuz I hate it !!!! Just let us know man !! We're here to help !!! And of course Ill gladly be the evil guy and I have my lacky Mystic already so we're good to go... DODA LIVES AGAIN !!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Nogrick, I mean that there have been RPG ideas proposed before, and that in theory, we would need to get the permission of Doot+them, because the stuff we use is still under their copyright n' stuff like that. So before you think about releasing that idea out to too many people, (I don't really know what they would think of an in-house release...) you could be inadverdently causing problems. That's all...

Of course I will be asking permissions and stuff. Plus, since it will only be a PO release and non profit, there is not alot to have to worry over, although
I will give credit where credit is due, and ask permissions to use any ideas that aren't my own.
