Good Lord, I'm happy it's NOT a remake, darn I wouldn't want to waste an hour waching a movie about the FF7 game. At least it might not be a waste of time watching it since it's a sequel. The interesting point in FF7 was, like all RPGs, that you could play the story (ok, so it was linear and ends up being like a movie, but still) if it would have been turn out as a movie of that same game, I think it would have been total boredom. It's like the Shenmue movie, it's cool at first, but then it gets boring, not because it's just a recorded demo of a guy going trough the game to make it like it's a movie, because it's just the same thing as the game! I mean, Shenmue 3 might be a movie and not a game, that sounds cool as well. Good thing they opted for a sequel to FF7 instead of a remake.

Hum dunno... Sephyroth is dead and the story over.

Squarsoft waste their creativity and now they do the continuation of final X and now of final 7 in a little movie. I'ts really deceiving. What next? a movie of Tidus meating is twin?

It's sure that a movie of the same game will be boring but a remake let us see what character really look like. It's fun for fan. Only one hours will not show something more then what cloud and sephy look. In this case why don't do all the character bonus story or else dunno... Somthing that was appen during the game but now show in it.

This is the second time I'm deceiving by them. Squall have so much similiarity with Tidus in their look. Not their clothing and manner, their contrasting but their hair, their face.

Yuna is a Rinoa better version and in final X-2 we have the twin both of Yunie and Cloud....

Twins, similarity, clone, the evil one being manipulate by another more powerfull evil one... Story begin to be the same patterns.

I was not surprise to see Seymours was the evil one in final X, I guess that Tidus was not really existing... Reality ireal...another patterns of their hero again...

I love final fantasy, I always loved their game but after the seven...begin to be deceived even more each time.

Why Sephy on the movie then? ô yeah, it's not really him it's just one of his clone perfectly like him? Please! Pretty please don't do that! They have the talented t do so much better!

Well, all im hoping for in this movie is that they clear up the funky ass ending that FFVII had. Besides that, the movie looks ungodly awesome, and i hope to see it in America. I know lots of Americans would love to catch this at home

Also, one thing i noticed about Sephiroth: In one of his screenshots, he looks like a replica of Marylin Manson. And once i really started to look at it, i realized that Marylin would actually be a pretty interesting voice to cast for him. As for other characters, if they are gonna have Barret in it, he needs to be played by either Samuel L Jackson, or Issac Hayes

All this ''you didn't kill me, you actually killed my clone/puppet/long lost twin, haHA!'' thing is really getting annoying. You see, this movie would be cool if Cloud could die, FOR REAL! or I dunno, someone important ... and no, I don't think Aeris and Tseng are people that can be called important, just by the look of them at the beginning of the game I could swear they'd get killed eventually <_<
