If you haven't seen the reruns on Cartoon network, or have been getting to see the new episodes on the WB, this show is definitely worth it. With animesque designs to your favorite mutants in their high school years, fun new ideas about character interactions (Rogue, Cyclops, Jean Grey love triangle) and great redesigns on villians (Apocalypse plays up more of his ancient Egypt background, and took Xavier, Magneto, Storm, and Mystique as his horseman!) this show has much going for it. The first season is out now on DVD, which helps set up plots and introduce characters, but wait for the second season to really jump into the fun! |

Yeah, I agree with Rev. This show is really worth taking a look at, and this is coming from someone who generally doesn't watch too much of this kinda stuff anymore and who doesn't really like anime in the first place. I really like the concept of having the characters in their high school years because it makes for some interesting stories.
I, personally, also like how they made Rogue a goth. As a result, she's probably my favorite character (I have this obsession with goth chicks), along with Nightcrawler (he's just the man anyway). |

It's a good show. I like it a lot better than most of the new stuff that's been coming out lately.
