Silver, we had to do them fram by frame. I think you CAN track'em with AE but they didnt told us about it. We did some tracking with some car comercial, but that was it.

Anyhow, this is the final composite of the scene. Is not much more than 5 seconds, but when you have the same repetitive move over and over there's only so much you can do.

Here ya go guys.

Right now Im doing Storyboards and its kinda... fun... I guess. And Ill be leaving for my home on Wednesday so Ill be gone for a whole week. So no updates in a while.

I like it as much as the previous one! I have trouble running it tho, at some point the image just stops and the sound continues till it ends >_< But after a while, I managed to see 4 seconds of the 5 second video, hopefully I'll make it play till I can see it all!

Sorry for being so late but Ive been busy with personal bussiness that wont be mentioned here.

My 2nd block is over and I passed, of course, and the 3rd will begin on January 5th with character modeling. The 1st project, building a human head !!!

Anyway, on to the update...

This was my last project that gave me a great grade on the last block I took. Even though this is not a finished revision, the finished one has 3 more light and better a little fix in the lighting of the place. Let me say this now...

***IMPORTANT***
The point of this project was to add explosion polys, hypervoxels (for Ain), and particle emitters. I was given the scene and I had to add the effects, including the spaceship breaking into pieces, bridge falling, debris, explosions and particles. The main model of the ship and the base, including animation was given by my instructor. In other words, I didnt model any of this, my instructor did. All the effects, including debris, fire, sparks, explosions, ship breaking into pieces, bridge falling and breaking was made by me.

Just making that clear and giving credit where is due.

Interesting stuff, although we don't pick up on the ship right away, and it feels like some of the explosion timing is off, but still, a solid start.

Yes Silver. Some explosions were off, but like I said, that wasnt the final. I was working on some other stuff to worry on something stupidly simple like t he timing of the explosions.

Anyway...

For those who are wondering what Im doing, who most of you dont really, Im gonna tell you anyway. I started my new block in Character animation on Monday and I must say it is sweet. We started working right away in building a hand using box modeling, which I must say... IT SUCKS... then we did another hand starting with nothing more than a 6 sided cylinder and man, it looks awesome. After that we jumped right away into building a head in separate parts. Until now we have eyes, nose and mouth. This is how it looks like...

So are you going to have some full-length feature film by then end of the class to show us, or what?

Yea, our final project is a 10 min movie incorporating everything we've learned. We get to model, produce, texture and all that fun stuff. Ill show ya when the time is right, or you can just order the dvd when it comes out !! Razz

Well guys, I guess this is good bye for this thread. Apparently not many people are interested in this so I asked Az to close it. I have to much stuff going on right now and too much work from school and the final months are closing in which means I have less time for myself. You'll see more of my work around, Ill bet that.
