So, who's as addicted as I am? Here's my team so far:

MAIN TEAM:
Me - Soldier
Montblanc - Black Mage
Frida - Sniper
Alcest - Gladiator
Mondo - Fighter
Nobel - White Monk

BACKUP SCRUBS:
Some other warrior guy.
Yet another warrior guy.
Tina - Fencer

THE ONE GUY I USED TO PLAY WITH, UNTIL I FOUND OUT HE SUCKED ASS:
Olint - White Mage

got any good combos? Here's one I thought up the other day:
Provoke (paladin ability) plus Strikeback (fighter ability)

my favorite combo is

Conceal (sniper) plus Last Breath (Assassin)
the key to making conceal work is to do it BEFORE you move, that way the enemy can't see where you went. Oh, and as far as my team (that I use)

Me: Paladin
Montblanc: mainly a time mage
Deisel: Defender/Dragoon (is that a kick-ass name for a bangaa or what?)
Bensom: Sage/Alchemist
Tennesy: Ninja
Eponine: Assassin (you're my boy, Bleu!)
Lex: Juggler/gadgeteer

that's about it. My main character has double sword equipped and 2 arch swords, and Tennesy has double sword and 2 masamunes. They deal the most melee damage. I finally got a second Juggler (though I can't remember his name)
Jugglers have, IMHO, 1 redeeming quality that makes them worth getting: Smile.
Think Quicken for free. so you get 2 jugglers, and they pretty much can get anywhere on the board (smile themselves silly) or to any character you want *cough*assassin*cough Oh excuse me, hehe.

Lorinzo my black mage is always out there stomping a mudhole in those damn fencer's ass. Reflex? Puh! Can you reflex a fira? No I didn't think so, scrub.

you know theres another topic about ffta..... but anyway i use monteblanc as a gunner and me as paladin. the rest are all assorted mage types. i really like someof the elementalist moves too

No real combos really... I just make tactics on the fly! @.@ I have no instruction manual...

Heh, I must be the only FFTA player who doesn't have even one character with two swords equipped!

I'm now trying to collect ALL of the mythril weaps, here's what I have so far:

Mythril Shot:hunter and Sniper
Mythril Bow:archer
Mythril Bell:animist and beastman
Mythril Brand:Paladin
Mythril Sword: soldier and warrior
Mythril Rod: black mage

and I've got a buddy who has Mythril claws. FYI I got the Mythril Rod as a trade item so LINKING HELPS!!!

Monteblanc is a animist (tryin to get gunner)
Lizzo is an archer
Chelney is my high level white mage
Lorenzo is my black mage
I also got a fencer and a warrior. Forgot their names because I'm so busy with Aria of Sorrow.

I just found out I could basically job-change at will with no penalty. So I tried a few combos and came to the following conclusions:

-Me as a support black mage = great.
-Time mages SUCK ASS.
-Templars move slower than a turtle.
-Ninja = currently in testing phase.
-Adramalech totema = TEH WIN! Very Happy

Time mages are good support, but only when they have quicken. What's your clan's name? Mine is Brimstar.

My clan's name is TWILIGHT. I still prefer my Paladin main character, monteblanc gunner, black mage/white mage hybrids, and ninja/fencers.
