Well here we go. It's playoff time. And my boys are in. Although they have quite a challenge ahead of them.
Here are my predictions.
AFC
Wild Card
Broncos over Colts
Indy proved a couple of weeks ago that their Run D isn't enough to hold up to even Denvers 2nd string Rookie Back. With CP back in the lineup, look for Denver to Run all over the Indy D.
Titans over Ravens
The only team with a better Rushing offense in the AFC then Denver is Baltimore, problem with that... Titans are the best in the AFC at stopping the run. They will have to take to the air which they don't do very often. the Baltimore D will have to contain McNair... Tough Job.
NFC
Wild Card
Cowboys over Panthers
Come on, Dallas has the best defense in the NFL. The Panthers O just won't be produce enough yardage to get enough Offensive Scores. The Defense and Special Team will have to help out for them to win.
Packers over 'Hawks
Playoffs... Brett Favre... against the Seahawks who haven't seen playoff action since '99... 'nough said
Obviously everything changes at gametime. So we will see what will happen. What do you think? |

No... the Vikings lost to the Cardnals yesterday. Denver lost to Green Bay... of course they played all their second and third stringers, but still a loss in the record books. |

Wow, 2-2, that's bad. The two games I thought would be blow outs were really close and I won, the games I thought would be really close, were blow outs and I lost.
My team is out, which doesn't surprise me b/c it was very obvious Indy was out for revenge and they played a great game on O and D.
Oh well. Next predictions to come. Maybe I will do better next week. |

Well I was actually 3-1 this week. I didn't put up my predictions for this week but here they were...
Rams over Panthers
Obviously I got this one wrong. I just didn't think that the Panthers were strong enough and experienced enough to beat the Rams. They proved me wrong.
Pats over Titians
Titans are good. Real good. They showed it last week. But the Pats are just the team to beat right now. They are going all the way this year.
Colts over Chiefs
As much as I think that the Chiefs are a great team, after what I saw the Colts do to my Broncos last week, I just figured the Chiefs couldn't stop them. They came very close, but Manning is the Man! Not to mention that statistically, the Chiefs had the easiest schedule in the NFL. They went 3-3 against teams with a winning record. Vermiel and the Chiefs GM better do something about that Defense.
Eagles over The Pack
What more could you ask for in a play off game. The two winningest active QBs in the game. What a battle this was. But I just think McNabb is a great Quarterback and he is going to taste the super bowl this year.
so this week I was 3-1. Post season total, 5-3.
As for next week, I have a feeling the Super Bowl this year is going to be a battle of the Top Seeds. I don't think the Panthers can stand up to Philly (even though they have proved me wrong twice already). And the Pats are just to hard to stop. I'm not sure even Manning can do it.
Well here we go. The AFC and NFC Championships are coming.
Eagles over Panthers
Pats over Colts |

Wow. Who would have thought that McNabb would throw 3 interceptions. Philly looked really sloppy last night. Unbelieveable. The Panthers have proved me wrong now 3 straight weeks.
The Pats did beat the Colts. And what a game it was. Gotta feel bad for Manning, he is probably the most talented QBs in the NFL right now and the poor guy just can't make it to the "Show." At any rate, NE advances.
So we have New England and Carolina in the Super Bowl. Who'd a thunk it.
Well, as much as I would like to see Carolina win, I have to say that New England is going to win.
so I was 1-1 this week. Bringing me to 6-4 for the playoffs. Pretty sad actually. But at least I'm going to end up with a winning record. |

I'll agree with ya there. Brady looked good yesterday, plus he's a Michigan grad, so I gotta root for him anyway.
Should be Pats over Carolina, but I wouldn't be suprised if it goes to OT. |
