Ulovia raises a brow, intrigued, and shoves Rupture blade-down into the dirt beside him, a gesture of peace. For now.

"How might you aid us in return, Mage? First, your name will suffice."

I know almost nothing of beings such as yourselves, and since I still don't know your objectives, I cannot with confidence offer a reasonable suggestion in that direction."

Ulovia just watches Lews for a moment longer, before speaking.

"You have reknown even in the Divine Realms, Sir Lews. And what makes you think I would give knowledge to a being such as yourself? You are a very powerful Mage to be known in the Divine Realms."

Ulovia turns to Kirahaad, smirking.

"Come on, Kirahaad. I'm not finished destroying that petty town."

Ulovia makes a disgusted sound, and turns back towards the Mage, boredly lifting a hand; A straight, yellow line appears in the ground, a line from Ulovia to Lews Therin and past, that then explodes in a gigantic yellow array.

The power rushing through him was immense. Temporarily, Lews Therin blacked out, doing away with all senses as distractions while he bent his entire will to conquering the blaze of energy. He knew he didn't have much time, but he had to do something to guarantee the others the time they needed. He tried to leech some of the ray's power for himself, but when he relaxed his concentration, his defenses nearly evaporated under the onslaught. His legs shook and weakened. His arms fell to his sides. His eyes stared sightlessly at nothing as he pitted his entire being against the magical attack.

So this is what it would have been like to take on Mondain alone...

The mage was completely defenseless...
