CARNIVAL RIDE
We rise to the top
the ride leaves us suspended
We drop with a gasp
WORDS
Superfluous words
come screaming into my head
I am confused now
SOLITUDE
Silence comes at last
Solitude, sweet symphony
No one is around |

WOLF
Piercing howl at night
The wolf lifts his head to sing
into the darkness
TEAR
Liquid gem so clear
running down my cheek, so warm
It ends its life. Splat.
STAPLER
'Clip!' It makes the sound
as it peirces through paper
with its two sharp fangs |

I'm with you because I love you, moron! >_< Eh, it's a hate-love relationship. 
Katana, the stapler one is the favourite of a lot of people, and Emmy the tear one is the second most liked. I do think they are my two best.
Tobias, woo hoo! I would make a teacher proud! That must be a first. LOL. Seriously, though, I absolutely love poetry in all of its forms, but haiku are just SO fun to write!
Daijaga, you are actually the first person to comment on my carnival ride on. Everyone else has ignored it, both here and elsewhere. I am glad you liked it! >^_^< I just love that feeling of suspense RIGHT before you drop. |
