now MY question is WHICH universe we talking here? Age of Apocolypse? Movie version? Silver age or whatever? Etc?
Cause my answer is tossed up between Magneto and Wolverine.
One cause he's from a world where Genocide killed all his family and he wishes to make a super race and genocide others...Plus he's fuggin awesome to boot.
The other is a no memory havin son-of-a-(Fill in blank) ex-military dood that says, "Bub" when fighting. Plus he don't take no crap from no biyatches. |

Storm- she can play with the weather man
Gambit- he has an accent and throws cards with red and black eyes
Nightcrawler- accent a tail and he's blue and has a Bamf doll aka plushie nightcrawler
Mystque- she's blue shapechanger and manipulate people very well. |

I was really torn between Gambit, Wolverine and Nightcrawler.
Wolverine-
Theres this cool alternate dimension version of him where the sentinals take over and pretty much kill everybody. He leads one last mission against the baxter building which has become the hq of the sentinals. Storm, collossus and him all head to the top. One fast ball special and He is diving at a sentinal who turns around and blasts him with a laser dissolving his skin muscle and everything not protected by his metal skeleton. Storm is impaled on something and Collusses is melted down. Why do i choose this wolverine? Because he is the lone survivor of this world.
Nightcrawler-
Instead of being the devil everyone think him to me he takes the path to righteousness. He is the perfect example of the fact that a person can choose to be something different than what others might force upon him.
Gambit-
Who can forget the theif with a heart of gold. Once a member of the theieves guild and part of Mister Sinister's group, he has redeemed himself time and time again but feels he can never cleanse his hands of the past. I remember Professor Xavier said something once along the lines of "How many times must the rogue prove himself a hero before he will believe it himself"
It was a tough choice but i had to go with gambit on this one. |

Nightcrawler all the way. Besides being one of the coolest looking characters, his appearance gives his character a great deal of depth. Shunned in the outside world because of his appearance he takes refuge in the circus and with God. Despite the fact that people often are afraid of him or hate him at first sight he loves all of humanity and always has a great sense of humor in all situations. He's the kind of guy that you could grow to like in about a minute. He may not be the most powerful of the X-Men, but his power is extremely useful if used creatively. He has a great deal of skill from his days in the circus, including being a master at fensing.
After Nightcrawler I'd have to say Beast, followed closely by Collossus (who isn't up there!).
