Well it's here, I have it, and my girl is going to miss me. LOL

Actually I am renting it because I had to order it to get the bonus disk so my copy hasn't gotten here yet. Still, this is a great game. I don't understand how you can make a move to a superior platform (to the GC from the N64) and lose features (no mini games, less Pokemon, and where are the real voices???) but it's still tight so far. I have yet to fully get into the Story mode as I'm way hooked on just the Battle Mode but it looks promising, if a little bit limited.

When registering your team, make sure you have at least one Poke with strong Electric attacks and some "hiding" moves (like Dig or Fly). And watch out in the Phenec Gym for the Newsreporter (Riesko, I think). I just started obviously but she's the only one that's given me trouble tho I freely admit my team could be a mite more diverse.

Ive delved into the story mode a little. Sometimes when you fight an opponent with a dark aura pokemon (ie one you can capture) the pokemon will be either male or female. Im trying to get them all as females so i can trade them to ruby and breed them. The story is pretty promising so far. Reminds me a little bit of Okage and Earthbound a TEENY tiny bit.

Curious that you say that. I have Ruby also and I did notice that 90% of my Pokemon are Male. I wonder if it's just like that or if Sapphire has mostly Female.

Its pretty random but certain dark pokemon tend to have a particular gender more often. It took a few tries to get a female croconow

I play colliseum today, but I also picked up ruby. Diggin both.
