It's justa rumor until it actually exists but...
"Film director John Woo is planning to produce a new movie based on Nintendo's Metroid series. The movie will have the heroine Samus as the lead character, fighting against the Metroids and Mother Brain. The movie is expected to arrive in 2006." |

In all actuality Samus Aran should prolly never leave her suit.
If they do the movie right it'll be her fighting Mother Brain but of course they'll do it wrong and make some kind of love story or Give Samus a pet Metroid.
And to further add to the fire the deal is not signed about Woo doing a Metroid movie..He simply opted to direct a movie that had no plan of seeing the light of Day.
So, there's still a chance to get a real director attached to it. |
