it looks like it, but its actually amazing timing by the friend who took the screen, if you look carefully you can see parts of his character inside RivaOni and thats how it happened, we didn't realise what we'd done until we saw the screen  |

Not sure if it is true or how hard it would be to find if it is true, but I heard there is a "Dual Sword" of some type in the new version. I heard it was blades and not sabers, but who cares... that would kick Arse! |

Yup! There's a new weapon type in Ep. I & II where you hold two swords an' go crazy with 'em. The weapon's called Musashi, so keep an eye out

Hey Cobbi, do you know if they (musashi) have new animations BC i heard they were just glorified daggers.
Man i cant wait, Shino maybe we can hook up for some split screen...i cant afford ANOTHER BB adaptor and the fee.

Nope, glorified daggers they are not! You'll notice that daggers are held with points down, and to slash they rotate their wrists back in an upward motion.
I've seen a movie of the Musashi in action, and they are very different, going with a traditional slash-slash action. You'll also notice that they're held in a normal way, too
One thing to also point out. Every one of the "multicolor" weapons from the original PSO has been given a unique look now. The DB's Sabre is what the little girl behind Musashi-wielding person is using. It looks alot like a sword the main character of Virtual On uses. The Visk looks alot cooler, and the Dragon Slayer looks like a huge buster-sword-style thang. |

I just wanted this game even more......
That DB Saber actually looks like something I'd want to use now. Love the black hilt it has.
One question though....could a RAcast get those Musashi swords? One of the things I was known for amongst my PSO friends was my skilled usage of melee weapons. (Chainsawd, Soul Eater specifically) and Two swords, one in each hand teenage vader style sure would make for a nice looking Robot. |
