I understand your rage, Wok. Such things seem to happen with more and more frequency these days. To me it's the pure spite behind these actions that shocks me more than most. I mean, how sadistic and cruel do you have to be to lash out at someone you don't even know who isn't causing you any kind of discomfort or harm? Maybe it doesn't seem like much at the time, but I find it pretty damn disturbing.

I think it's because people understand something as being cruel if it is being done to someone they care for (a.k.a., someone they know). Therefor, blindly hiting on a perfect stranger isn't cruel! Since for them, they don't know the person, and they can easely empty there rage or soda cans or ... 9 mm magazines at a the crowd ... pathetic and primitive way of seeing things, I know, but that's how lot's of people are. Makes you wonder, is it the sign of the end of the human evolution when the mass becomes more and more idiotic? Maybe it's a way for Mankind to self-destroy... |

Well, you can't argue with the fact that it keeps the population low, I guess. Though that would certainly make Mother Nature a vindictive bitch. Somehow I just can't help but see it as a failing of society. Maybe I'm too optimistic, but I think that if we ever really gave it any thought we could fix all of the world's problems. Unfortunately, most of the world's population are concerned with making money or amassing power, and it's those very things that cause most of the world's problems.
