Yeah but everything is kinda true scientifically speaking..It just moves a lot faster than you'd expect..Which they actually say IN the movie.

But that sorta explains all them creatures they found Chryogenically frozen in Russia and stoof.

Just gotta remember that for every science theory out there there's a science theory to disprove it.

My friend said the first half of the movie was the best because it showed people dying a lot.

The First half of this movie was better... I dunno... It just seemed like they ran out of money for FX or something half way threw... people still dye but they stop showing it... A good movie, worth seeing... but it could have been better.

I got to see this a few days ago.

While I did like it, it was really pretty stupid. An ice age in a week? That some what killed the movie for me.
Also it dragged on way to long in my opinion.

Due to the rather uninspired plot, and the lack of any great effects, I would have to say skip the theater, but it’s definitely worth the rental.

I have to say I'm glad I saw it in the theater. As AzV said, they do say that it was moving a lot faster than it should have. Kinda a CYA thing I think.

Scientifically, the events are probably close to accurate, but the amount of time it takes for all this to happen is more than likely not.

The effects were pretty cool in the beginning that is true. They trailed off there at the end b/c the actually story about how the storm moved in was over. What was the reason for any more sfx?

I think the wolves were pretty freakin' cool to be honest!

Anyway. I will probably buy this on DVD when it get's to be like $15 or something. I would give it probably a 7/10

I hated how they'd introduce you to some character for 5 minutes only for them to die.

It was a tad cheesey, but if you leave your brain at home and don't nit pick you'll probably enjoy it.

Oh and I thought that guy who was watching Manchester United play on TV was a nobhead.
