Yeah I hear you, Fire rulz.
I originally wanted Pokemon Red cause I'm a Fire fan but ended up getting Blue. I got Ruby for the same reason but you know, I always end up using diff Pokes than the starters anyway. I don't know why they can't make a game where you have a choice of maybe one of each type instead of the Grass/Water/Fire combo. That is soooo very tired now. I can see it may be for balance but that only lasts until maybe your first badge anyway.
I always end up using Eevee-types anyway. Colloseum made me so happy with the Espeon/Umbreon team (YES!!!) but then didn't have any other Eevee-lutions in there (WTF???). Never mind the fact the game only has like 100 Pokes in it anyway. That is just lazy/dumbass programming to me. You got 300+ characters to use but you only use 1/3rd. Then on top of that you can use any of them (thru transferring) in the Battle Mode so that means they DID program in all of the characters anyway. Why the Hell not let people use their faves and make the game...um...interesting?

I mean Ruby & Sapphire used the Fire/Water thing but applied it to the story so it made sense and I did stick with Blaziken til the end (tho he was not the strongest one I had) but it's time to have whatever Prof Tree they use this time say "You can choose which Pokemon you'd like. And I've finally graduated from my class so I'm able to supply you with any of the basic Pokemon of the 973 known species." I mean, who wouldn't love to start with Magikarp?

You: "Go Magikarp! Go Oddish! Aw shit."


Didn't mean to turn this into a Pokemon rant but if the next Nin console doesn't have a Pokemon MMORPG then Nin better make Fellayshio, the BlowMe Pokemon.
