Who knew Antonio Banderes would be such a great voice actor? Although he has the one voice for the movie, I thought he was really great in his delivery. |

As for Dreamworks' animation. They haven't had too good a track record but I hope they keep on trucking. They've barely cusped each of their production costs with box office for their movies such as Antz, Spirit and Sinbad and actually have taken some losses such as Road to El Dorado (which I personally liked a BUNCH!). They've had good success and I hope this Shrek franchise keeps it up.
I grew up on fairy tales much like a lot of you I assume. And a lot of the pop culture references absolutely made me laugh out loud. To the point where sometimes I was the only one laughing. This movie was in the fashion of old Looney Tunes cartoons as well. Aimed a LOT at adults but enough endearing quality to hold children's attention. The comedy in it was priceless and the voice acting very fun. Especially Puss.
I appreciated this movie and never once felt the urge to shift in my seat. So therefore I give this movie 0 GMA's. (A very high ranking on my scale).  |
The amount that teh Doot and teh Shino agree is scary sometimes.
Road to El Dorado was awesome, but there other movies... just no desire to watch them.
Puss was awesome... I wish he had a bigger part though. The detail was unmatched. And I love the story... And even though earlier I said I like the first one better... The first one ranks really really really high in my book.
I think my reasoning may be that this one was just a little sappy for my tastes... |

Simply one of the best movies ever.
For a movie aimed so young, I would not expect humour aimed at so high o.O
Query: was the king voiced by the guy who did the doctor in MDK2? They sound so similar.. |

Well there were a lot of jokes aimed at an older audience. I mean, how many kids actually watch COPS to understand the KNIGHTS reference....and the pepper grinder.....hilarious! Also, did anyone else see the knights giving the headless horseman a sobriety test?? |
