Baten Kaitos

Gonna get it? I'm debating. The FMV sequences feature some of the most expressive faces I've ever seen in a game, not to mention just plain good graphics, and the voice acting, what little of it I was able to experience, seemed quite good. The thing I'm not enthused about, and have never been enthused about, is a card-based battle system. It's the reason I couldn't stand PSO:III or Lost Kingdoms. Having a card game seperated out, and standing alone, ala Tetra Master, is all well and good, I like Magic the Gathering as much as the next man, but I've never been able to get into a battle system that is based on a deck of cards. Now, in the game's defense, I haven't played all too many such games, but in both of them, my experiences have been bad. Matter of opinion, I guess. I won't say the system displayed in Baten Kaitos is bad, because I don't even know how it works (I would be glad to have someone tell me, by the way), but in general, card based battle seems to equal bad.

Anyway, after getting a tad off topic, anyone planning on getting Baten Kaitos? Or not? Any thoughts at all?
