Moving Out

Hey I'm thinking about moving in with this girl Tiffany. I meet her on Sunday and she's really nice. She'll let me stay with her for free till I can find a jod. Then it's $75 a month. Do you think I should? I mean I barely know her but I need to get away from my family. I've been trying to do this for so long. If i do it will be in 3 weeks. So what do you guys think?

Well, I would have to say that if you haven't completed school yet I would definitely stick with them until you graduate. It is entirely a different ball game in the world when you go out on your own.

Yeah but she's going to help me through HS there is a really good school near where she lives. Sometimes I just don't know if I can live literally with my parents. I just wanna die and give up sometimes. And there are so many people around me that I love but I actually think I have a better chance of completeing HS with her. Away from all the other distractions.

You met her less than a week ago and you want to move in? I would have to say no way. First of all this person has no legal responsibility for you what so ever. Because of this you can not depend on her to get you through school and let you live with her. She could very easily kick you out or not help with you schooling. Plus there is the fact that you have known this person for what about 4 days? I am not ganna bring up the possibility that this person could be maybe not so nice, but it is a possibility to think on. But more importantly you really need to know the people you move in with. You would be surprised just how fast little annoyances can turn into huge fights when you live with someone. So that is why you should always pick your roommates carefully.
Take the previously given advice to stay at home and in school.

Also I don’t know your family life, well at all really. But have you sat down with your parents and actually talked to them about these problems? It is sometimes pretty amazing how oblivious parents can be to kid’s problems. I am sure they love you and want to help you Kia.

Yeah seriously man, that's not something you want to get yourself into. I think you should really go with reaper's advice...its very good. You'd be suprised how much you can solve just by talking things out. Also, look at it this way; if you thought you had issues with your parents now, wait until you move out, move in with someone you've known for less than a week, while you're not even finished with HS. That's just a hurricane waiting to happen.

If you really wanna move out, stick it out and finish school, then go to college or something, and live there if you can. Its a great, acceptable way of getting away from home.

I would love to live with you and Kiyomi but I think you live very far away from me. Well not very far but not walking distance and not having a friend drive me distance. maybe plane distance. Oh well *glomps Kai*
