SPidey 2 had the action, but c'mon, Doc Ock was a pathetic bad guy. His whole evil patheon was "The freaky little arms made me do it and even the arms knew it wouldnt work." God forbid his arms alone weren't enough of an amazing invention, but he had to create a little exploding Capri Sun. ("The power of the sun in the palm of my hand". C'mon!!! That copyrighted and you bloody f'n know it!)
Ah, I just have spidey issues, but I still maintain I, R was a better flick. They are both sumemr block busters though and both shoudl be seen. |

I haven't read the book... I was wondering if anyone here has and could give a simple comparison... did they change much? I have read some of Asimov's other books, and this movie reminded me of them. |

Uh yeah, I feel sorry for poor asimov. I mean the major parts are there, but don't expect to go see the novel, its very much an adaptation. |

As one persons idea of what might happen should the three laws ever be followed to their fullest, it was interesting and fun. If it could have spent more time on what the extent of that choice for robots would have meant, I would have liked it more.

He wasn't really a cyborg. Just had a robotic arm from the accident the tell you about in the movie. |

...As far as I can tell from the previews it's only "based" on them in the sense that it takes place in the same world. I just finished I, Robot, and I do believe there is nothing in the book that even hinted about what was put forth in the previews. Then again, previews alone do not a movie make, so We'll see what happens when I get round to seeing the movie. |
