PSP (Playstation Portable) is teh shweeeeetness...

Has anyone SEEN the screens of a PSP. Its one thing to hear it has the specs of a PS2, its another thign to see someone playing Armored Core, Metal Gear, and Gran Turismo Mobile on a system no bigger than my foot and portable back lit wipe-buttable goodness.

This isnt just a small step for portable gaming, the next gen systems, particuarly the PSP, is like a giant fackin leap forward for gaming anywhere. My god its liek jumping from Secret of Mana to Final Fantasy X over night.

Well the technology has been there, they just didn't want to use it.

Again Nintendo will use Carts

And Sony will go with a new Media

But they could have made a portable that took minidiscs a long time ago, I don't know why they didn't.

Hell the Gamecube could probably be a portable system now.

The fact that DS is going with Cartridges disturbs me greatly, considering the massive amount of Information that will be on the UMDs PSP is using. Its like the old battle bettweeen N64 and PSX. N64 had better graphics, yes, but the PSX had much bigger better games for the most part. Only this time Nintendo doesnt have graphics to hold over Sonies head. Maybe I am biased, but I think the PSP will be a much better system.

I would like to see more original games.

However, being as I haven't picked up Viewtiful Joe (Which is what you get if you mix 1 part Shino and 1 part Chibi Knight) I may get the PSP version.

Oooh..They're going to cross breed the greatest Card game ever created by Konami "Yugi-Oh" with the greatest license from Konami "Metal Gear Solid" (Just speculation since I can't go to any web site with the word "Game" in the address from work)

*drools* Oh man..I'm gonna need a bed pan, a catheder, some paper towels and lotion when this game comes out.

Basically I needs it cause I'll be playing the ultimate of all cracks and won't wanna move for a while.

Now I just need to kill Shino and collect his life insurance policy so I can afford both game and system.

The funny thing is I can actually SEE a MGS card game.

Basically the decks can run off of a point system. Lets say you get 300 points to build your deck for normal combat and 500 points for sneak attack and 200 points for a surprise on you.

So you basically play through a new MGS game and when you come to a bad guy you two whip out decks and battle to see who dies/goes unconcious.

If you meet a guy head on or you sneak up on him or (Which never happens) they sneak up on you you get to play with the corresponding decks. The baddies will re-spawn and get tougher as the game goes on and you collect three cards of YOUR choice from their corpse to edit your deck.

Boss battles will allow you to customize a deck right before fighting and Otacon will give you recon on them IE "He's a dark type Snake" or "He'll make you see the light if you're not careful"

Man..This game will be sweet if Konami finds the PO website and can read English.
